Target Information
GSDMD (Gasdermin-D)는 미생물 감염 및 위험 신호에 대한 반응으로 pyroptosis를 유도하는 단백질입니다. 염증성 카스파아제 CASP1 또는 CASP4에 의해 절단되어 활성화되며, 이후 세포막의 인지질(PI4P, PIP2, PIP3, PA, PS 등)에 결합하여 세포 사멸을 유도합니다. 또한 GSDMD는 세균 살해 활성을 나타냅니다.
