Product Specific Information
To minimize cross-reactivity, the donkey anti-mouse IgG whole antibodies have been cross-adsorbed against IgG from bovine, goat, chicken, guinea pig, hamster, horse, sheep, rabbit, rat, and human.
Cross-adsorption increases antibody specificity and reduces background staining, which is particularly beneficial in multiplexing or multicolor staining experiments.
Usage Notes:
- Centrifuge the conjugate solution briefly before use and use only the supernatant to avoid aggregates.
- Optimal dilution should be determined empirically for each application.
Specificity:
This antibody binds to heavy chains on mouse IgG and light chains on all mouse immunoglobulins. It does not bind non-immunoglobulin mouse serum proteins or IgG from other species listed above.
Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with high specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins and enable versatile use with HRP, AP, or fluorescence systems.
Signal amplification is achieved as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
