TCR1151 detects TCR Beta F1, which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 13 kDa.
Target Information
The T Cell Receptor alpha beta (TCRab) is a heterodimeric membrane receptor composed of variable alpha and beta chains, expressed as part of a complex with CD3 proteins.
TCRab mediates T-cell activation in response to antigens presented by MHC molecules, initiating signaling cascades that regulate cellular proliferation, differentiation, cytokine production, and activation-induced cell death.
These cascades are essential for T-cell development, homeostasis, activation, effector function acquisition, and apoptosis.
Cells expressing TCRab constitute the majority of T cells in both human and mouse.
