Product Specific Information
The 30-F11 monoclonal antibody reacts with all isoforms of mouse CD45 (Leukocyte Common Antigen, LCA). CD45 is expressed on all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets. It possesses tyrosine phosphatase activity and plays a key role in lymphocyte activation.
Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Flow cytometric analysis of mouse bone marrow cells. Use ≤ 0.25 µg per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize titration for best performance.
Fluorochrome Information:
Brilliant Violet™ 421 emits at 423 nm and is suitable for cytometers equipped with a 405 nm violet laser.
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright™, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401-42) or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ (00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed on all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising ~10% of lymphocyte surface proteins. It regulates Src-family kinases and is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling. CD45 isoforms vary by alternative splicing and cell type, influencing membrane localization and signaling activity. It also modulates integrin-mediated pathways and cytokine receptor signaling, contributing to immune regulation and cell survival.
