Product Specific Information
The 104 monoclonal antibody reacts with the mouse CD45 molecule, the leukocyte common antigen (LCA) in CD45.2-expressing mouse strains. Strains expressing CD45.2 include C57BL/6, BALB/c, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, C3H/He, CBA, 129, A, and AKR. CD45.2 is expressed by all leukocytes in these strains.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤1.0 µg/test in 100 µL final volume. Optimize titration per assay.
Fluorochrome Information:
Brilliant Violet™ 421 (BV421) emits at 423 nm and is suitable for cytometers equipped with a violet (405 nm) laser. Ensure compatibility with your instrument.

Target Information
CD45.2 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of surface proteins in lymphocytes. It regulates Src-family kinases, influences lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, and exists in multiple isoforms due to alternative splicing. CD45.2 also modulates integrin-mediated signaling and contributes to apoptosis regulation. CD45RA is one isoform with distinct expression among lymphoid subtypes.
