For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Estrogen Receptor beta (ERβ, NR3A2) is a nuclear receptor protein (~55 kDa) with multiple isoforms (36–59 kDa). Initially cloned from human testis, ERβ belongs to the steroid/thyroid hormone receptor superfamily.
Upon binding to estrogen, ERβ undergoes conformational change, allowing dimerization and interaction with estrogen response elements (EREs) in DNA to regulate gene transcription.
Two distinct estrogen receptor forms exist: ERα (ESR1) and ERβ (ESR2). ERβ binds estrogens with similar affinity to ERα, and some isoforms inhibit ERα activity in reproductive tissues.
ERβ is widely expressed in various tissues and may act as a tumor suppressor, associated with conditions such as prostate cancer, autism spectrum disorder, medullary thyroid carcinoma, De Quervain Disease, and cardiovascular disease risk.
