Cofilin은 F-actin에 결합하여 pH 의존적인 F-actin 탈중합 활성을 나타내며, 세포골격의 동역학을 조절합니다. 이는 유사분열 및 세포질분열의 정상적 진행에 중요하며, 세포 형태 및 세포골격 조직화 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 비정형 케모카인 수용체 ACKR2의 세포막 이동과 케모카인 제거 효율 증가에 필요하며, 신경관 형성과 신경 능선 세포 이동에도 필수적입니다.
