Target Information
hnRNP DL은 핵 내에서 보편적으로 발현되는 heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoproteins (hnRNPs) 하위군에 속합니다. hnRNP 단백질은 RNA 결합 단백질로서 heterogeneous nuclear RNA (hnRNA)와 복합체를 형성하며, pre-mRNA 처리 및 mRNA 대사와 수송에 영향을 줍니다. 일부 hnRNP 단백질은 핵과 세포질 사이를 이동하며, 각 단백질은 고유한 핵산 결합 특성을 가집니다.
이 유전자가 암호화하는 단백질은 두 개의 RRM 도메인을 가지고 있으며 RNA에 결합합니다. 세 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변이가 보고되었으며, 그중 하나는 nonsense-mediated mRNA decay로 인해 번역되지 않을 가능성이 있습니다. 이 단백질의 아이소폼은 HNRPD와 유사합니다.
