Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Galectins are a family of beta-galactoside-binding proteins involved in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.
The protein encoded by this gene is an S-type lectin, overexpressed in Hodgkin’s disease tissue.
It may play a role in interactions between H and RS cells and surrounding cells, contributing to disease pathogenesis and associated immunodeficiency.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants have been identified for this gene.
