Target Information
JUP (Junction Plakoglobin) is a major cytoplasmic protein found in submembranous plaques of both desmosomes and intermediate junctions. It forms complexes with cadherins and desmosomal cadherins and belongs to the catenin family, characterized by the armadillo repeat motif.
