Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The C8orf4 gene encodes a small, monomeric, and predominantly unstructured protein that functions as a positive regulator of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. This protein interacts with a repressor of β-catenin–mediated transcription at nuclear speckles, competitively blocking repressor interactions with β-catenin and thereby upregulating β-catenin target genes. It may also be involved in NF-κB and ERK1/2 signaling pathways. Expression of this gene has been implicated in the proliferation of several cancers, including thyroid, breast, and hematological malignancies.
