Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They combine multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.

These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, yielding higher sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot has a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information

BOB-1 is a transcriptional coactivator that associates specifically with OCT1 or OCT2. It enhances OCT1-mediated promoter activity and, to a lesser extent, that of OCT2. It has no intrinsic DNA-binding activity but recognizes the POU domains of OCT1 and OCT2. BOB-1 is essential for B-cell antigen response and germinal center formation.
