This antibody shows approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse OCAM and no cross-reactivity with recombinant human BCAM, EpCAM, MCAM, or NCAM-L1.
Target Information
The ALCAM (CD166) gene encodes activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule, a member of the immunoglobulin receptor subfamily with five immunoglobulin-like domains (VVC2C2C2) in the extracellular region.
It binds to T-cell differentiation antigen CD6 and is involved in cell adhesion and migration.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
