Target Information
Zika virus는 1947년에 발견된 flavivirus로, 2015년 브라질에서 처음으로 감염과 뇌질환 간의 연관성이 입증되었습니다. 임신 중 여성에게 특히 위험하며, 태아의 소두증 및 신경학적 장애를 유발할 수 있습니다.
ZIKV NS3 단백질은 BMP2 성숙 및 골형성 유전자 발현을 유도할 수 있으며, NS3 protease는 pro-BMP2를 활성형 BMP2로 절단하여 바이러스에 의해 유도된 뇌 석회화를 초래할 수 있습니다.
NS3 단백질은 세포 환경을 재구성하여 바이러스 복제에 필수적인 역할을 하며, 세포 기질을 절단하여 바이러스 생존에 중요한 세포 경로를 조절할 수 있습니다.
