Product Specific Information
The 2D10.4 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD80 (B7-1), a 60 kDa member of the Ig superfamily expressed on activated B cells, macrophages, dendritic cells, and activated T cells.
CD80 binds to CD28 and CTLA-4 (CD152) on T cells, playing a crucial role in T-B cell communication and activation.

- Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested on Raji cells at 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test
- Recommended Cell Count: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test

Target Information
CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2) are ligands for T cell costimulatory molecules CD28 and CTLA-4 (CD152).
Both are expressed on professional antigen-presenting cells and are essential for T cell activation.
CD80 is rapidly induced on activated B cells, EBV-transformed B cell lines, Burkitt’s lymphoma cells, follicular B lymphoma cells, T cells, and monocytes.
It provides regulatory signals for T lymphocytes via interaction with CD28 and CTLA4.
Associated Diseases: Gallbladder squamous cell carcinoma, myocarditis.
