Product Specific Information

The GIGD7 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse T cell immunoreceptor with Ig and ITIM domains (TIGIT, VSTM3, WUCAM), a 26 kDa protein belonging to the poliovirus receptor (PVR) family. In mice, TIGIT is expressed in follicular T helper cells. In humans, TIGIT is expressed on NK cells, regulatory T cells, follicular T helper cells, memory CD4+ T cells, and CD8+ T cells, but not on B cells or naive CD4+ T cells. TIGIT expression increases upon CD4+ T cell activation. It interacts with PVR family proteins such as CD155, mediating interactions between NK/T cells and antigen-presenting cells, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells expressing PVR-like proteins.

Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes at ≤1 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Optimal titration recommended.

Target Information

This antibody binds with high affinity to the poliovirus receptor (PVR), leading to increased IL10 secretion, decreased IL12B secretion, and suppression of T cell activation through the generation of mature immunoregulatory dendritic cells.
