Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The UPRT gene encodes uracil phosphoribosyltransferase, an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of uracil and 5-phosphoribosyl-1-R-diphosphate to uridine monophosphate (UMP).
This reaction is essential in nucleotide metabolism, particularly within the pyrimidine salvage pathway.
The enzyme localizes to both the nucleus and cytoplasm and is a potential target for drug design against parasitic infections and cancer.
