Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the hydrolysis of cAMP and cGMP to their corresponding monophosphates. It plays a role in signal transduction by regulating intracellular cyclic nucleotide concentrations. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
