Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The CETN3 gene encodes a protein containing four EF-hand calcium-binding domains and belongs to the centrin protein family. Centrins are evolutionarily conserved and similar to the CDC31 protein of S. cerevisiae, which plays a critical role in centrosome duplication and separation. CETN3 is one of the most abundant centrins associated with the centrosome, suggesting a similar function to its yeast counterpart. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
