Target Information
Transgelin (SM22alpha)는 평활근 세포에서 풍부하게 발현되는 단백질입니다. Transgelin-2(SM22alpha homolog)는 Transgelin의 상동체로, 평활근 세포 및 복강 B-1 세포에서 발현됩니다. 인간 TAGLN2 유전자는 염색체 1q231-q25에 위치하며, calponin-like 반복과 calponin-homology(CH) 도메인을 포함하는 199 아미노산 단백질을 암호화합니다. Transgelin-2는 Transgelin과 유사한 기능을 수행하며, actin과 결합하여 actin 섬유를 빠르게 겔화시킵니다. Transgelin의 발현 감소는 세포 변형의 초기 지표로 작용할 수 있습니다.
