Target Information
ATP7A (Copper-transporting ATPase 1)는 구리 이온을 세포막을 통해 이동시키는 P-type ATPase로, 소장과 신장에서 구리 흡수 및 재흡수에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
ATP7A는 대부분의 정상 조직에서는 발현되지 않지만, 여러 종양 조직에서는 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다. ATP7A의 발현 증가 시 세포는 cisplatin 및 carboplatin에 대한 내성을 보일 수 있습니다.
또한 ATP7A 유전자 돌연변이는 유아기 치명적인 Menkes disease를 유발합니다.
