Target Information
Plexins는 척추동물에서 여러 클래스의 세마포린(semaphorin)에 대한 대형 막관통 수용체 가족입니다. Plexins는 널리 발현되며, 그들의 세포외 도메인은 scatter factor receptor 및 semaphorin 도메인과 상동성을 가집니다. Plexins는 단독으로 또는 neuropilins과 함께 semaphorin 수용체로 작용할 수 있습니다. Plexins는 plexin-A, -B, -C, -D의 네 가지 하위군으로 구분됩니다.
Drosophila plexin-A는 class I semaphorin의 수용체로 운동 및 축삭 유도를 조절하며, Plexin-A3는 세포 반발 신호를 매개합니다. Plexins B와 C는 각각 Sema 4 및 Sema 7의 수용체로 작용합니다.
