Target Information
GSDMD (Gasdermin-D)는 미생물 감염 및 위험 신호에 반응하여 pyroptosis를 유도하는 단백질이다. 염증성 caspase (CASP1 또는 CASP4)에 의해 절단되어 활성화되며, 절단 후 세포막으로 이동해 인지질(PI4P, PI(4,5)P₂, PI(3,4,5)P₃, PA, PS 등)에 결합한다. 또한 세균 살해 활성을 가진다.
