For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Neurofilaments (NFs) are intermediate filaments expressed almost exclusively in neuronal cells, especially in large axons. They consist of three major subunits — neurofilament medium (NF-M), high (NF-H), and light (NF-L) proteins — which share a coiled-coil core domain but differ in terminal regions.
NF-M plays a key role in axonal cytoskeletal architecture via its phosphorylated tail domain, mediating filament interactions. NF-M phosphorylation and O-GlcNAcylation are reciprocally regulated, influencing filament formation and function.
Antibodies against NF subunits serve as valuable neuronal markers due to their abundance, neuron-specific expression, and biochemical stability.
