Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The CSH1 gene encodes a member of the somatotropin/prolactin hormone family involved in growth control. Located on chromosome 17 within the growth hormone locus, it shares high sequence identity with four related genes. These genes are selectively expressed in different tissues and undergo alternative splicing, generating multiple isoforms.
CSH1 is mainly expressed in the placenta, with expression increasing during development. Mutations can lead to placental lactogen deficiency and Silver-Russell syndrome.
