For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

The CDKN2A gene produces several transcript variants differing in their first exons.

• Two isoforms act as inhibitors of CDK4 kinase.
• Another transcript encodes an alternate reading frame (ARF) located upstream, producing a structurally unrelated protein that stabilizes p53 by binding and sequestering MDM2, preventing p53 degradation.
  Despite structural differences, both CDK inhibitor isoforms and the ARF product share a common role in cell cycle G1 control.
  CDKN2A is frequently mutated or deleted in various tumors and functions as a critical tumor suppressor gene.
