Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

The G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) superfamily comprises approximately 600–1,000 members and represents the largest known class of molecular targets with therapeutic relevance.
GPR17 is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor involved in oligodendrocyte differentiation and myelination in the central nervous system. It is expressed in brain, kidney, heart, and umbilical vein endothelial cells.
GPR17 exhibits dual specificity for uracil nucleotides and cysteinyl leukotrienes, signaling through G(i) and inhibiting adenylyl cyclase. It may mediate brain damage following ischemia through these signaling pathways.
