Interleukin 11은 gp130 전이 하위단위를 사용하는 다기능성 사이토카인 계열에 속하는 스트로말 세포 유래 사이토카인입니다. IL-11 수용체는 조혈 사이토카인 수용체 패밀리의 일원으로, 섬모 신경영양 인자 수용체와 유사한 두 개의 도메인(면역글로불린 유사 도메인 및 사이토카인 수용체 유사 도메인)을 포함합니다. 이 유전자는 다양한 스플라이싱 변이체를 가집니다.
