Product Specific Information
A 1:1,000 dilution of PA5-77783 was sufficient for detection of RAB1B in 15 µg of Human HeLa Cell lysates by ECL immunoblot analysis using goat anti-rabbit IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 48 kDa.
Target Information
The small GTPases Rab are key regulators of intracellular membrane trafficking, from the formation of transport vesicles to their fusion with membranes. Rabs cycle between an inactive GDP-bound form and an active GTP-bound form that recruits downstream effectors responsible for vesicle formation, movement, tethering, and fusion.
RAB1B regulates vesicular transport between the endoplasmic reticulum and successive Golgi compartments and plays a role in the initial events of autophagic vacuole development occurring at specialized regions of the endoplasmic reticulum.
