Target Information
RBP4 단백질은 리포칼린(lipocalin) 계열에 속하며, 혈액 내에서 레티놀(retinol)의 특이적 운반체 역할을 합니다. 간의 저장소에서 말초 조직으로 레티놀을 전달하며, 혈장 내에서는 트랜스싸이레틴(transthyretin)과 복합체를 형성하여 신장 사구체를 통한 손실을 방지합니다. 비타민 A 결핍 시 결합 단백질의 분비가 차단되어 표피 세포로의 전달이 저해됩니다.
