MARK3는 세포 극성을 조절하는 kinase 그룹의 구성원으로, 미세소관 관련 단백질(MAPs)의 인산화를 통해 기능합니다. MARK3는 인산화에 의해 활성화되며, tau 단백질, MAP2, MAP4의 인산화에 관여합니다. 여러 전사 변이체가 존재하며, 다양한 isoform을 암호화합니다.
