The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
ITGB8 (Integrin beta 8) is a member of the integrin beta chain family and is a single-pass type I membrane protein containing a VWFA domain and four cysteine-rich repeats. It noncovalently binds to an alpha subunit to form a heterodimeric integrin complex that mediates cell–cell and cell–extracellular matrix interactions. This complex plays a role in human airway epithelial proliferation. Alternatively spliced variants encoding different protein isoforms have been described, though not all have been fully characterized.
