HYB 008-06B-01 is specific for the Ba fragment of human factor B.

HYB 008-06B-01 has been successfully used in ELISA and procedures. HYB 008-06B-01 reacts strongly with factor B. In Western blotting after SDS-PAGE, HYB 008-06B-01 reacts with the Ba fragment of factor B in non-reduced form only.

The HYB 008-06B-01 immunogen is Complement factor B isolated from human plasma.

NOTE: Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85-1.15 mg/mL

Target Information

Factor B is a component of the alternative complement pathway. The protein is a single chain polypeptide with a molecular mass of 93 kDa. Factor B is cleaved by factor D into the Ba component (30 kDa) and the Bb (63 kDa). Bb together with C3b forms the alternative pathway C3 convertase C3bBb.
