Target Information
Protein kinase A (PKA, cAMP-dependent protein kinase)는 세포 주기, 세포 간 신호 전달, 기억 형성 및 행동 조절 등 다양한 세포 기능에 중요한 신호 전달 경로의 핵심 요소입니다. PKA는 두 개의 촉매 서브유닛(PKAc)과 두 개의 조절 서브유닛(PKAr)으로 구성되어 있습니다. cAMP 결합 시 복합체는 해리되어 활성화된 PKAc 단량체가 핵으로 이동해 여러 핵 수용체를 조절합니다. PKAc에 의한 삼투압 의존적 유전자 발현 조절은 cAMP 비의존적으로 일어납니다.
인간은 PKAc α, β, γ 세 가지 형태를 발현하며, α형은 대부분의 조직에서, β형과 γ형은 특정 조직(γ형은 고환)에 존재합니다.
