Product Specific Information
PA1-1040 detects S1P1 protein in transfected human and mouse cell samples with no cross-reactivity to S1P3.
It is validated for immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot applications.
By Western blot, it detects an ~44 kDa recombinant S1P1 protein from transfected HEK293 cells.
Immunofluorescence data shows S1P1 localization to the plasma membrane after staining with PA1-1040.
The immunogen peptide (Cat. # PEP-220) is conserved across species and available for neutralization and control experiments.
Target Information
S1P1 is a G-protein coupled receptor for sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P), linked to G(i) proteins.
Its signaling activates RAC1, SRC, PTK2/FAK1, and MAP kinases, regulating actin cytoskeleton reorganization and lamellipodia formation.
S1P1 is essential for normal chemotaxis toward S1P, embryonic heart development, and cardiac morphogenesis.
