Preparation:
Produced from sera of goats immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human FGF-16. Anti-Human FGF-16-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and subsequently biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect Human FGF-16 by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human FGF-16 (500-P160G) as the capture antibody, it enables detection of at least 2000–4000 pg/mL of Recombinant Human FGF-16.

Western Blot:
For detection of hFGF-16, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. When combined with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hFGF-16 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under both reducing and non-reducing conditions.

Members of this family play key roles in prenatal development, postnatal growth, and tissue regeneration by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF-16 signals through FGFR 2c and 3c and contributes to central nervous system development.
