Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve ~1 mg/mL antibody concentration.
- For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
AGR2 (anterior gradient protein 2) and AGR3 belong to the anterior gradient homolog family.
They are secreted cytoplasmic proteins involved in metastasis induction and inhibition of the p53 tumor suppressor.
AGR2 may serve as a molecular marker and potential therapeutic target for hormone-responsive breast tumors.
It is ubiquitously expressed and upregulated in prostate, breast, lung, renal, and endometrial carcinomas.
AGR2 expression correlates positively with estrogen receptor (ER) and negatively with epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR).
