Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information

Corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRFR1/CRHR1) is involved in mediating stress response and anxiety-related behaviors. Mutations in this receptor may reduce anxiety-related behaviors and contribute to Cushing disease pathogenesis. Multiple isoforms are produced by alternative splicing.

CRFR1 expression has been reported in pituitary, adrenal gland, brain, colon, ovary, placenta, testis, white blood cells, and skin. ESTs have been isolated from human brain, eye, colon, and embryo libraries.
