Target Information
INCENP (Inner Centromere Protein)은 염색체 승객 단백질(chromosomal passenger protein)로, 유사분열 및 감수분열 과정에서 필수적인 역할을 합니다.
이 단백질은 고도로 염기성이며 다중 도메인 구조를 가지며, 중기 염색체에서 방추체 중간대로 이동합니다. 일부 INCENP는 세포질 분열이 일어나기 전 등적 피질(equatorial cortex)로 이동하며, 세포질 분열 완료 시 midbody에서 분해됩니다.
