Target Information
CD43 (leukosialin, sialophorin)은 음전하가 높은 막관통 점액질 유사 단백질로, 대부분의 조혈세포 표면에 발현됩니다.
CD43은 세포 부착을 방해하는 반발 장벽을 형성하지만, 특정 상황에서는 백혈구 응집을 촉진하기도 합니다.
Actin-binding 단백질인 ezrin 및 moesin과의 상호작용을 통해 T 세포 형태 조절과 림프구 이동 중 세포 간 상호작용을 조절합니다.
CD43 신호는 LFA-1의 부착력을 증가시키는 동시에 다른 수용체를 통한 LFA-1 유도 작용을 억제합니다.
CD43 발현은 기능적 p53 종양억제 단백질을 유도하지만, p53과 ARF 결핍 시에는 종양 증식과 생존을 촉진합니다.
CD43은 백혈구 기능의 중요한 조절 인자로, Wiscott-Aldrich 증후군 및 Adenoid Basal Cell Carcinoma와 관련이 있습니다.
