JMJD2B(KDM4B)은 히스톤 H3의 Lys-9 탈메틸화에 관여하는 효소로, 염색질 구조 조절 및 유전자 발현 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 본 항체는 인간 KDM4B 유래 합성 펩타이드(AA 351–400)로부터 생성된 토끼 폴리클로날 항체입니다.

Cofactor: Binds one Fe(2+) ion per subunit.
Domain: The two Tudor domains recognize and bind methylated histones. The double Tudor domain has an interdigitated structure required for binding methylated histone tails.
Function: Histone demethylase that specifically demethylates Lys-9 of histone H3, contributing to the histone code. Does not demethylate H3 Lys-4, H3 Lys-27, H3 Lys-36, or H4 Lys-20. Active mainly on trimethylated H3 Lys-9, with weaker activity than KDM4A, KDM4C, and KDM4D. Demethylation generates formaldehyde and succinate.
Similarity: Belongs to the JHDM3 histone demethylase family. Contains one JmjC domain, one JmjN domain, two PHD-type zinc fingers, and two Tudor domains.
