Target Information
CRB2 (Crumbs homolog 2)는 Drosophila crumbs 단백질과 유사하며, retina, brain, kidney에서 발현됩니다. Crumbs 단백질 복합체는 신경상피세포 발달 시 세포 극성을 설정하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다. 배아줄기세포(ESCs)는 신경 분화 초기 단계에서 CRB2를 상향 조절하며, 이는 neural rosette에서 apical localization을 보입니다. CRB2는 다른 polarity protein의 안정화에 필수적이며, CRB1과 달리 CRB2 변이는 망막색소변성증이나 Leber 선천성 흑암증과 관련되지 않습니다.
