Product Specific Information

This antibody detects a band of the appropriate size in various cell lines expressing Artemis. It does not detect a band in cell lines that do not express Artemis, such as CJ or hTERT lines.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene acts as a receptor for aryl hydrocarbons and a ligand-activated transcription factor. It is located in the cytoplasm as part of a multiprotein complex and translocates to the nucleus upon ligand binding. This protein regulates expression of xenobiotic metabolizing enzymes and can inhibit hepatitis B virus activity.
