Target Information
SPT5는 DRB sensitivity-inducing factor complex (DSIF complex)의 구성 요소로, RNA polymerase II에 의한 mRNA 처리 및 전사 신장을 조절합니다.
DSIF는 mRNA guanylyltransferase 활성(RNGTT/CAP1A)을 자극하여 mRNA 캡핑을 양성 조절하며, NELF complex와 협력하여 프로모터 근처에서 전사 일시 정지를 강화합니다.
또한 HIV-1 핵 전사 활성인자 Tat에 의해 유도되는 전사 신장을 효율적으로 활성화하는 데 필요하며, HIV-1 LTR에서 전사 일시 정지를 억제하고 조기 전사 종료를 방지합니다.
