Target Information
Wnt3a is a member of the WNT gene family, which encodes secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate regulation and embryonic patterning. Expression studies in the teratocarcinoma cell line NT2 suggest a role in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. WNT3A is clustered with WNT3 in the chromosome 17q21 region.
