Target Information
Biotin is a water-soluble B complex vitamin (Vitamin B7). It is required by all organisms and synthesized only by bacteria, yeasts, molds, algae, and some plants. Biotin is essential for incorporation of carbon dioxide into organic compounds and has a molecular weight of approximately 244 Da.
