Target Information

Ly6G (Lymphocyte antigen 6 complex locus G6D) is part of the myeloid differentiation antigen Gr-1, along with Ly6C.

  • Molecular weight: approximately 21–25 kDa
  • Expressed by myeloid-derived cells in bone marrow
  • Marker for detection of peripheral neutrophils, monocytes, and granulocytes
  • Expression correlates with granulocyte differentiation and maturation
  • Ly6G may play a role in anti-tumor response and local immune regulation through neutrophil-mediated mechanisms
