Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The ASMTL gene encodes a protein with an N-terminus similar to the multicopy associated filamentation (maf) protein of Bacillus subtilis and orfE of Escherichia coli, while the C-terminus resembles N-acetylserotonin O-methyltransferase.
This gene is located in the pseudoautosomal region 1 (PAR1) of X and Y chromosomes.
Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
