Target Information

TNFR1 (Tumor necrosis factor receptor 1) is a member of the TNF superfamily and a major receptor for TNF-alpha. It mediates cytokine signaling, regulates NF-κB pathway activation, angiogenesis, and gene expression.
The extracellular domain can be released as soluble TNFR1 (sTNFR1).
The TNFR1 gene is located on chromosome 12.
TNFR1 interacts with adaptor proteins TRADD, TRAF2, and BAG4/SODD, which modulate signal transduction.
Mutations in the TNFR1 extracellular domain are associated with autosomal dominant periodic fever syndrome due to impaired receptor clearance.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
