Product Specific Information

The 205yekta antibody reacts with mouse CD205 (DEC-205), an integral membrane glycoprotein involved in antigen uptake, trafficking, and presentation that enhances antigen-specific T cell immunity. CD205 is highly expressed by CD8⁺ dendritic cells and variably expressed by bone marrow Gr1⁺ cells, Langerhans cells, BMDCs, and thymic epithelial cells.

Note:

• CD205 binds PE-Cy5.5 antibody and streptavidin conjugates; avoid these formats for CD205⁺ dendritic cells.
• Each product includes 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate and 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer.
• NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  → Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains instead.
• Use 5 µL of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer per sample for optimal staining.
• NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology, offering engineered fluorescent signatures with reduced spillover.

Target Information

CD205 (LY75, Lymphocyte Antigen 75) is an endocytic receptor that directs captured antigens for processing and presentation, enhancing T cell immunity. It is expressed in dendritic cells, bone marrow, and thymic epithelial cells. Dysregulation is associated with pneumonic plague and lipid pneumonia.
